The TCS Amsterdam Marathon is an annual marathon in Amsterdam in the Netherlands since 1975. This year it’s celebrating its 50th edition and promising one of the most unforgettable race experiences ever.
The road race has a Platinum Label from World Athletics and is a qualifier for the major marathons and ultra-marathons worldwide. During the event there is also a half marathon and a 7.5km as the city of Amsterdam is celebrating 750 years of existence. The Amsterdam marathon is an event for the whole family.
The route starts and finishes at the Olympic Stadium. The course is flat and fast with a maximum elevation of 10 meters at 37km. The course record is 2:03:38 achieved by Tamirat Tola of Ethiopia in 2021. The 2022 event has 45 000 participants from 130 countries.
